Still alive, Still kicking.

I find that I just don't have time to update this thing as I would want it updated. Oh well.
But, I do have stories to tell.
Hila is back in the country. She finally landed after several months in south america. I posted all her stories here on the website.

My family is leaving the country for several months. It came about so suddenly, we were so sure that the deal fell through, instead it went ahead. (Gee I love american mannerisms). So within another 3 weeks, off they go for 3-5 years. That's a really long time.
I will miss my sister terribly. It's like there's this sensation of pending doom. I get these panic attacks. It might be Rona's. You see, I've discovered that we are slightly empathic. Mostly I feel what she's feeling. I guess I passed up on my own emotions months ago.

On the whole, I am happy. Busy, hate my job, wishing to leave, but happy to have Assi and my life. We are looking into the possibility of moving to Ireland. It's a dream, but with too many uncertainies. Hate those
I started taking a few lessons in photography, which is really fun. We had our first photo session last friday. It was basically a 3 hour walk around on the beach and in Tel-aviv. It's amazing how beautiful everything is if you stop it for a split second. We were taught to create a composition, so now, every single image, i try to translate into a scene. Every thing fits into the canvas, into the frame. Somehow, even the ugliest of things look great if you're an outside observer bringing out its uniquness. deep
I'll post the images as they come along.

It being summer mode and all, Sigal, Hila, Shany and I went to a music concert - Meir Banay in Coca-cola music village on the beach. Every shot I took which I aimed mannually came out either blurred or too dark. Which is a major bummer, but that's learning for you. I got a Henna Tattoo of a fairy on my hip. I think it's really sexy, even though Assi can only say "cute" at it. I am definately considering a real one. (Rona, if you're reading this, Blewy to you, and Mom, if you're reading, Don't faint). I even bought a book about fairies, to enlighten myself.
*glow*

Another story:
I am still in the process of adapting to my new boss, and so far I am not getting along with him. Damn career sabotager and sanity masher!
Anyway, He lent a short motivational commerical about geese flying in a V formation, and its application on organizational behavoir. The film is actually seen from the "bird-eye" view - they strapped a duck with a camera around his neck. BY flying in the V formation, they save 71% air-resistance. If one ets tired, another takes his place, they all know thier place, they all support the leader, and they quack to keep pace. I felt the whole thing was highly inspiration, and since then I have taken to thinking about quacking. Quack quack. As a result I am hearing more duck jokes than usual. (not that I hear all that many duck jokes to begin with). Basically everyone finds thier own light and understanding of the quacking. But I can't help but wander, if everyone supports the leader and his vision and strategy, and he's quacked...what does that mean will happen?

Hila gave me as a gift a book called, Cruel and Unusal Puns, which is basically a guide to Puns and word plays. I've been practicing, but it's hard.
My favorite so far, is the story about the early space program, where they decided that sending out dogs was not represenative of sending out a crew of people. So they sent up twelve cows to see what would happen. They were known as the Herd shot around the world.
pah-dum-tam!
I guess you have to like Spider Robinson to get it.
Now I end with the usual promise. I'll write more later

Cool beans. I was looking through my mail box and noted tat I have quite a few ghosts from the past starting to zing around. since they all want to play catch up, I might as well direct them to my really neat and not so interesting website.
at least they can see a photo of me...what i look like today and stuff.

I had a nice experience at work the other day. At Tech-ed I danced with a lovely girl and we exchanged phone numbers with the thought that we could find a salsa class together. now this was a month ago, and yesterday she started working at Ness. Right down the hall from me, yippy for dancing partners.
Now I have to see what dance class we can find.
I am well. trying to better my communication skills with the people I love. Rona and I went on a trip to the north on Sat, we headed out at 5:15 and there was the solar eclipse at 5:30. I just thought it was a dark sunrise, beautiful but dark. It was a great adventure, Rona drove most of the way, first time since getting her license. We both had bad stomaches and had to stop every 30 minutes or so. It was great fun.

I just noted that the entire text was in black. As you know, black text can not be seen on a black background.
The silly thing is, no one reads this site to tell me that it's black on black. Thank you readers :)
I got my MBA last week and am deliberating whether to start another degree or not. The last update says that I should wait, since a degree is a 3-5 year deal but how long should I wait?
more thoughts to come later.
